The Origin of Oriigiins: Where Roots blossom

We are the souls of Oriigiins, a collective woven from the invisible thread of passion. We carry within us an innate love for art, a quest for beauty, and, above all, an infinite fondness for our origins. We are a mosaic of lives, from diverse backgrounds, sometimes holding two passports, but always united by the same common thread: the desire to bring to life a project that speaks to the heart.

Oriigiins was born from this burning desire to celebrate the cultures, countries, and cities that inhabit our souls. But our journey began with two challenges that shaped our vision.

Looking around us, we noticed an absence. The art of celebrating one 's roots through clothing seemed to have been lost in simplicity, even banality. Designs, often minimalistic, were limited to the codes of sports or overly obvious symbols, relegating aesthetics to the background. We wanted to reinvent this language. Our ambition was to create some vintage shirts or a retro shirt, sometimes minimalist that was not just a simple piece of fabric, but a canvas of memories, a whisper of the history you wear on yourself.

Each creation, from our Algeria t-shirt to our Mexico t-shirt and our Brazil t-shirt, is a visual poem. We chose elegant cuts, like our vintage oversized shirt, and materials that respect the earth, like the cotton of our organic shirt. Each piece is an invitation to tell your story, not with a shout, but with a breath of beauty.

Identity as a Bridge, Not a Barrier

A more subtle and essential challenge also caught our attention: in a world that sometimes seems to be isolating itself, is it possible to embrace our roots with pride, without it becoming a source of exclusion? This question has been our compass. At Oriigiins, we believe that identity is a bridge, not a wall. You can cherish your origins and at the same time reach out to others, to a different place, for a dialogue of hearts.
